Found a Lakebed capsule doing something harmful? Tell us. You do not need an account.
Lakebed hosts user-built apps on *.lakebed.app subdomains. Most are harmless, but anyone can
deploy, so some are not. If you land on a phishing page, malware, spam, or other abuse, report it and we will
investigate.
How to report
From the capsule itself. Add /__lakebed/report to the end of the capsule's
URL — for example https://some-app.lakebed.app/__lakebed/report — and fill in the short form. The
offending address is filled in for you.
By email. Write to abuse@lakebed.dev with the capsule URL and what you saw. For copyright or trademark complaints, use dmca@lakebed.dev. For security vulnerabilities in Lakebed itself, use security@lakebed.dev.
What to include
- The full capsule URL (the
*.lakebed.appaddress). - What is wrong: phishing, malware, spam, illegal content, or something else.
- Any detail that helps — a screenshot, what the page asked you to do, when you saw it.
What happens next
Reports go to our trust & safety queue. We review each one, and if a capsule violates our Acceptable Use Policy we disable it and may suspend the account behind it. We prioritize active phishing and malware. We may not be able to reply individually to every report, but we read them all.
Copyright (DMCA)
If content on a capsule infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@lakebed.dev including: your contact information; identification of the copyrighted work; the infringing capsule URL; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your signature. We respond to valid notices and terminate repeat infringers.
Child safety
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material. We remove it, preserve evidence, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as U.S. law requires.
